Indian corn. Aren't they cute? I bought the supplies as a tactic to keep the kids busy last Friday. It was their second half day in a row and I couldn't take another day of the wild rumpus - I thought a craft project would calm them down a bit. Spencer and Hailey each put on about five beads a piece. Evan and I made all the rest. You know what they say about the best laid plans.
This picture doesn't do them justice at all, but they look totally awesome and festive hanging over our counter. Now for the pilgrims and turkeys.
Spencer's pilgrim paper. I laugh at how he thinks his life would be different if he were a pilgrim because he would go to a different school. He wouldn't know what hit him!

They didn't make Indian hats in school this year - any of them - so last night we sat down and crafted some of our own. Spencer made one too, but at this time he was working on his homework.

I didn't do one single turkey day craft with the kids. I even bought some glitter glue, construction paper, etc., at the Dollar Store. I'm going to have to make up for that next month with the Christmas crafts!

Cute. I love your corn cob project. Very creative and it does look nice hanging above your bar. Our thanksgiving crafts this year consisted of tracing our hands to make turkeys.
